CAREER OBJECTIVE
Looking for an opportunity to work for an organization where my knowledge and skills will be
used to achieve the goals and objective of the organization which will help me to improve my
knowledge and skills and grow as better Professionals.

ABOUT ME
A dedicated, highly motivated and hardworking Chemical Engineering graduate with
internship in Coal Gasification at Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL). I have strong desire
in working towards finding new sources of energy and enhancing production of green energy
(Biofuel) from waste material due to depletion of non-renewable energy sources, negative
impact of fossil fuel on environment and the unstable oil market. To meet the need of society
and contribute energy security to solve energy crisis and proper waste disposal in an
increasingly environmentally sound manner. Some prominent examples of my interest are

PROJECT WORK
Main Project
Title: Biofuel (Ethanol) production from waste banana peels.
Description: The peels of BASRAI variety of banana were taken and dried in a hot oven at 338K. Dried
sample were dissolved in hot water for starch extraction through soxhlet extractor. Extracted starch
solution were treated with amylase enzyme and then subjected to fermentation process by incubation
of S. cerevisiae for 4-5 days at 300K which results in the production of ethanol. The ethanol formed
were characterised by potassium dichromate method. The effect of pH, sugar content and rate of ethanol
production were studied for 8 days. After extraction of starch banana powder were burnt with butane
flame to obtain potassium carbonate solution as by-product after gravity filtration. The residue left can
be used as fertilizers.

Mini project
Title: Innovative Technology for the production of furnace oil from waste tyre.
Description: Thermal pyrolysis of waste tyre and tube samples were carried out in a semi batch reactor
within a temperature range 450C to 800C. The optimum pyrolytic oil of 49.6% was obtained at 600C
for tyres and 49.65% for tubes at 700C. The oil was characterised by Fourier transform infrared
spectroscopy (FT-IR) whose analysis shows that the chemical composition and functional groups
present in the oil obtained were in the range of Diesel and Gasoline. The char obtained was characterised
by proximate and ultimate analysis.
