To complete my college in June 2017 and achieve my target D*DD


in Business BTEC level 3 extended diploma: Specific: To complete
my college in June 2017 and achieve my target D*DD in Business
BTEC level 3 extended diploma Realistic: It is is realistic because I
got 7 distinctions in my first year and if I start the same in my
second year from where I left, I will achieve my intended grades.

To apply for a professional pilot license training programme by


August 2017 to become a commercial pilot: This is SMART
because it is specific- professional pilot license training
programme. It relates to the time period August 2017 and is
measurable (becoming a commercial pilot) and is achievable as I
will meet the entry requirements, which means it is realistic.
To get a place in university in September 2017 in economics in the
university of Bradford. by completing my UCAS application and
personal statement as a backup plan. This is SMART because it is
specific- studying economics in university of Bradford and time
related as it is September 2017. It s also measurable (completing
UCAS application and personal statement) and seems to be
achievable and realistic.
To get a DBS check and medical class 1 done in August 2017 to
check if I am well enough to become a pilot.
Start my professional pilot training. Specific:To start my
professional training Measurable:It will be measurable based on
my success in my BTEC course and my medical test and DBS test
as well. Achievable: This is achievable because I have the GCSEs
results and on course of achieving the grades to get me into the
course : It is realistic because I have the grades and have a clear
criminal record for myself to enter the course Time: it will be done
in 2017 hopefully
If this does not plan out according to plan, I will start my first year
at university.
To start getting experience in flying planes by taking a few flying
lessons. Specific: To start getting experience in flying planes by
taking a few flying lessons. It is achievable because in order for me
successful at this course, I have to have experience in flying small
planes like gliders. I will hopefully start this in 2018.

To work on bigger aircrafts through flight simulators Specific: To

realistic because if I do well in my first 2 years of the course, I
could be put towards the end of a successful course by working on
bigger aircraft. This will hopefully be done in 2019.

To complete my professional pilot training and get my


ATPL.unfrozen, which will allow me to apply for a job. Specific: To
complete my professional pilot training and get my ATPL.unfrozen,
which will allow me to apply for a job. I can make it achievable by
working hard and putting 100% dedication to my course. I will
hopefully get my ATPL done by 2019.
Successfully gain a job as a professional pilot with EasyJet or
either RyanAir. Specific: To Successfully gain a job as a
professional pilot with EasyJet or either RyanAir. It is achievable
because I have a lot of determination to do my piloting course and
there is every chance then that I could land myself a job. Time: I
will hopefully get a job in 2020
