Create a QR Code Hunt

Type the information next to each prompt.
1. Choose a topic: 3rd Grade History
2. Identify the standards and write objectives
Grade Level Expectation: People in the past influence the development and
interaction of different communities or regions
Evidence Outcomes:
-

Give examples of people and events, and developments that brought important
changes to a community or region

Describe the history, interaction, and contribution of the various peoples and cultures
that have lived in or migrated to a community or region

3. Determine how you want students to proceed through the QR code

hunt and what they are to do with the information or what they are to
do at each clue. Describe your method here:
After teaching a lesson about important figures in American
history (past presidents, civil rights leaders, etc.) and
explaining the impact each one had on what our nation became
I would set up this QR Hunt. I would set up QRs around the
school. This QR Hunt would act as a review before the unit
test. The students must answer each question in their
notebook and bring the notebook (with all completed answers)
back to the classroom. They will compare answers with their
peers in order to help them review for the test.
4. Write at least 10 questions or prompts (see table below):
5. Create a QR code for each question/prompt. Copy and paste the QR
code next to each question/prompt above. QR codes can link to text,
web sites, images, and more!
There are a lot of QR code generators. Some have colors, some allow many
options, some are just black and white, and some force you to download the
QR code.
This QR code generator allows you to copy and paste rather than download:

This one has lots of options and color: http://www.qrstuff.com/

6. Here is a QR code hunt generator: http://www.classtools.net/QR/ - it is

preferable for you to try the do it yourself QR code generators rather
than class tools. If you are struggling, then refer to class tools for help.
