only.Therealsoareanalyzedformally,usingpipestressanalysissoftwaresuchasCaesar,Autopipe,ROHR,etcher.

Asforthediscussionthistime,Iwouldliketosharesomecriticalcategoriesoflinethatitisnecessarytobeanalyzedusinga
formalanalysis.Surelythisisnotstandard,dependingontherequirementandspecificationthantheowneroftheplant.Butasa

ofknockoutdrumleadingtotheflarestack,wherethereisthepossibilityofthermalbowingonthepipe.Thermalbowingisa
conditioninwhichthetemperaturegradientbetweentheinnerwallofthepipeandtheouterwallofthepipeistoohigh,causing
thepipebowing(curved).Couldbowingtotheaxialandtransversedirections.

Similarly,somebaselinesthatcanbeusedasabenchmarkinthescreeningwhetheralinecouldbecategorizedascriticalfor
analysisusingaformalanalysisornot.
