Describe the instructional activities that will occur prior to the SRS activity and how you will
introduce the SRS activity: Prior to the SRS activity, students will have engaged in three days instruction
on the parts of a plant, and their functions. During these three days of instruction students will have read
informational text, made diagrams and illustrations, and had meaningful discussions. I will introduce this
activity at the end of the last lesson after discussion.
