sugar is eaten more than any other food additives including salt.
2. Many of us have consciously reduced or eliminated sugar from our
diets.

5. Nurses aides, paralegals, travel agents, and computer technicians
find work without a college degree.
6. Public community college and trade schools are growing rapidly,
while some four-year colleges are experiencing growth.
7. Vocational school train students for local businesses with existing
jobs.
8. Detroit might offer advanced automotive design and New York offer
fashion design.
9. Schools that offer courses in horticulture, respiratory therapy, and
computer programming place graduates easier.

10. Vocational education is being reexamined by laid-off workers,
housewives returning to school, recent high school graduates, and
college graduates with hope of finding careers.

The first modern indoor 18 holes miniature golf course was built in New
York in 1925.
150 more indoor and outdoor courses was built by entrepreneurs Drake
Delanoy and John Ledbetter, yet Garnet Carter made miniature golf a
worldwide fad by building an elaborate one. Together all three built
more miniature golf courses. By 1930, there were 25,000 courses in
the United States. As courses grew elaborate so did the hazards
becoming bizarre. The craze spread to London and Hong Kong and
grow out of control. By 1931 interest declined; and most courses were
out of business. In the 50s the game was revived, so today there are
between eight and ten thousand courses. This invention is a part of
American folk art.

At the Institute for Equality in Education and the University of
Colorado; Dr. Alice I. Baumgartner and colleagues surveyed two
thousand school children found some starling results. They found the
answers to be sad and shocking to the question asked, If you woke up
tomorrow and discovered that you were a (boy) (girl), how would your
life be different? The boys titled their answers The Disaster or
Doomsday, and the girls seemed to feel they would be better off as
boys with easier lives.

1. The geological formation in Wyoming called Tsoai is Momaday taken
as a young child to Devils Tower, and there he was given the name
Tsaoi-talee (Bear Tree Boy).
2. The origin of Tsaoi is the Kiowa myth about a boy who playfully
chases his seven sisters up a tree, which rises into the air as the boy is
transformed into a bear.
3. The boy-bear becomes increasingly ferocious and claws the bark of
the tree.
4. The seven stars of the big dipper became also the sisters from
climbing higher to escapes the boy-bear wrath.
5. The way to rainy Mountain, House Made of Dawn, and The Ancient
Child is how Momaday got his names.
