Discipleship Training Opportunities

Please call church office to sign up
Growing Kids Gods Way comprehensive Bible Study on learning
how the Bible teaches to raise children. Insightful DVDs with
core values rooted in Biblical teaching. Course will be co-led
by Mimi and Farish Mulkey and Ginger and Bo Jones. Will be
taught on Sunday nights to coincide with Youth and Childrens
activities.
Marriage Bible Study facilitated by Sandra and Ray Harrell. Will
try to set time around the group that signs up. Will have DVD
led curriculum facilitated by veterans in Christian marriage.

Ladies Ministry Paint Party

The Ladies Ministry is hosting a Paint Party with April Pollock
Buffaloe on Friday, Dec. 9, starting at 6:00 PM. To sign up, go to

All door hangers are $25, which includes all paint and supplies.
Light appetizers and snacks will be served. We look forward to a
great night of fun and fellowship. Bring a friend.

Fellowship Club
There will not be a Fellowship Club meeting on November 7. You
are invited to join the Saints Alive Choir and go to Moultrie for their
annual joint Thanksgiving celebration with FBC Moultrie and FBC
Valdosta on November 17th.

Office Volunteers Needed

We are in need of some volunteers to help answer the phones on
Monday mornings. If you are available and willing to help one
Monday, please call the church office and sign up for a day.
Operation Christmas Child
Our Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection date is
Sunday, November 6th. Please help a child by packing a
shoebox and bringing it to the church by or on Nov. 6th.
Prayer Group
There will be a prayer group meeting in the Heritage Room each
Wednesday at 5:30 PM to pray for the Pastor Search Committee.
Everyone is welcome and invited to come pray.
Salvation Army Bell Ringers
The Salvation Army is looking for groups to help ring the bell. If
your Sunday School class would like to help, please contact
Karen Elwell or Chip Hall.
Saints Alive Choir
Our Saints Alive Choir will be traveling to Moultrie on
Thursday, Nov. 17th for our annual lunch/fellowship with the
First Baptist Churches of Moultrie and Valdosta. We practice on
Mondays at 11:00 and will be singing a Christmas special in
December. We would love to have you join our choir. Myra

PASTOR SEARCH COMMITTEE

Please lift your Pastor Search Committee in prayer daily.
They are: Jerry Pollock, Richard Dykes, Tanya Crum,
Frances Edmunds, Susan Lanier, Karon Elwell.

We will be making three crafts that will be perfect for gifts or

keepsakes. To ensure we have enough supplies, please RSVP to
the church office by November 28. There are spots for everyone,
so be sure to invite friends! We will finish our craft night with
cookies and a reading of the Nativity Story, so it is a perfect
opportunity for those in our community who are unchurched to
hear the Gospel.

AWANA

Sunday, November 6 5:30 pm Fellowship Hall

Join us for Glow in the Dark Night this Sunday! Also, we raised
over $72 last week at our Buck for a Box Night. That means, we
will be able to ship 10 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes!
Wow!
And dont forget, we will be gathering all our shoeboxes this
Sunday, November 6!

RAs, GAs, Mission Friends

Wednesdays @ 7 pm

We are back in action this week! Join all the fun as we learn
about missionaries and how we can have a mission lifestyle!

Thank you doesn't say enough!! We were able to

raise over $2,000 this past Sunday at our mission
meal. With these funds we will be able to help four
families in our area during the Christmas season.

youth building 7:00-9:00.
November 13th Casting Crowns concert in
Tallahassee. Limited number of tickets
remaining. Tickets cost $30.
November 16th Evangelistic and outreach emphasis
night!
November 21st Decorate the public Library. Meet
at church 9:00am. Lunch together following
completion.
December 16th Youth Christmas party.
December 19th Salvation Army bell ringing at Winn
Dixie. 9:00am-7:00pm. Sign up for one hour
time slot.
