Technical Outlook

We said, "Close above Tuesday's high could

confirm fall is over ..." The index opened 100
points gap-up but hit the day's high within 30
minutes. Later shaving off 217 points intraday, it settled just 50 points or 0.2% higher.
The sectors traded mixed. While capital
goods, banks lost 1%, metal and pharma
gained 1%. The A/D ratio ended positive, at
2:1.
The action formed a small Bear candle,
indicating the index' inability to close above
last Tuesday's high of 24563, after crossing it
initially. The higher high-low can maintain
positive bias if today's action does not weaken
and close below the candle's low. However,
strength & close above the candle is required
to continue the positive bias and test the
December 2015 lows.
