From the Pastor

A nephew and niece were here this past week to visit from California.
The other evening, they and several of my siblings were 'shooting the
breeze' about family life when we older ones were younger. We talked
about who went to which school and why there were changes in the
schools that we did attend. One reason for change was the school burned
down, another reason was consolidation. Another topic was our chores
and what we had to do before going to school. Everyone was expected to
do their part when things needed to be done.

When you fill out the form you are helping to achieve two things. First
of all, you are letting yourself and God know what you would like to do
to be a better person in this 'vineyard' that he has given us to take care of.
You are also letting the community know what you would like to do to
make our community a better place. I encourage you to take a few
moments to fill out the Time and Talent form and return it to the parish.
The other personal form is for your own enhancement of life.
Thank you for all you do at St. Michael; may we continue to grow
closer as a community and closer to the God who created us.

Mass Schedule and Intentions for Nov. 5 - 13

Pastor: Fr. Floyd McKinney

Here at St Michael, there are things that need to be done too. That is
one reason we live the Stewardship way of life. You received in the mail a
Time and Talent form to be filled out and sent back or brought back to
the parish. This form is your goodwill effort to live the Stewardship way
of life and be an active part of St Michael Parish. It is a given that you do
not have to sign up for all the things that need to be done. We all have
different gifts and talents that we can use to make St Michael a better
community. If we all do something, everything can be accomplished.
