The purpose of this lab investigation was to find the perfect amount of salinity for Brine

Shrimp. When We did our Lab, our group had 5 different petri dishes each labeled 0% 0.1% 1%
5% 10% salinity (salt water). Then, we put the Brine shrimp eggs into the petri dish with the salt
water to let them hatch and when we went to check them they were half hatched and some were
fully hatched and some didn't make it. When we came back to the petri dishes after the weekend
the Brine Shrimp were all dead, some of the water in the dishes were evaporated and we didn't
have a lot of data. I observed with the data that that the dishes with higher salinity the Brine
Shrimp grew faster and better, and the dishes with lower salinity the Brine shrimp had a harder
time to grow, and had a higher chance of dying. It can be concluded that the Brine shrimp where
able to grow and thrive if the dishes or water that there in has enough salinity for them to grow.
