PRE-SOCRATIC

GOD
God is one, the greatest among gods and humans, who is like
mortals neither in form nor in thought. He sees all over, thinks all
over, and hears all over. But without toil he sways all things by
the thought of his mind. He always does not remain in the same
place, without moving at all; nor does it suit him to go about here
or there.

MAN
Man is the measure of all things, of things that they are, and of
things that they are not This is the philosophy of man according
to Protagoras because you build your life and your entire pattern
of though around what you believe. So it's real for you and logical.
But someone who has had a totally different experience of life will
believe something else is real and logical. Is a saying of
Protagoras that has come to us.

WORLD
Thales said that Everything comes from water I believe in him
because we all know that water covers 71% of the earth.

WESTERN
GOD
MAN
According to Aristotle Man is a rational animal. He is the rational
because he has a soul that enables him to think or to reason. He
is an animal because he has a body with physical needs and
appetites. The soul and body form a necessary whole for the
existence of the organism

WORLD
According to Plato: The world of becoming is the physical world
we perceive through our senses. This world is always in
movement, always changing. The world of Being is the world of
forms, or ideas. It is absolute, independent, and transcendent. It
never changes and yet causes the essential nature of things we
perceive in the world of Becoming

MEDIEVAL
GOD
According to Augustines view of God :
God as absolute good, absolute perfect, absolute beauty,
absolute intelligent, absolute power, and a being who created the
universe and the entire things including man

MAN
St. Augustines philosophy Man has an innate thirst for truth,
knowledge and happiness. Although, he can never find complete
wholeness, contentment and happiness on earth

WORLD
According to St. Augustine: World was created by god from
nothing through a free act of his will and that our knowledge of
god comes from our soul

MODERN
GOD
According to Rene Descartes It is possible to have a clear and
distinct perception because we know that god exist, and that we
know that God exist because we have a clear and distinct
perception of his existence.

MAN
According to Existentialism man first of all exists, encounters
himself, surges up in the world and defines himself afterwards. Of
course you can choose to act in a different way, and to be a good
person instead of a cruel person. Man can choose to be either
cruel or good, although, in fact, he is neither of these things
essentially.

WORLD

For Confucianism Humans here are not considered as the masters
but as having evolved from the same source sharing the same
process of life with all. Mans nature is a mixture of good and
evil

WORLD
For Hinduism, the world is here, it is real, it function by eternal
dharma, the gods work to keep it going, and humans have the
duty to contribute to its welfare

INTRODUCTION
This project is all about whose philosopher we believe in.
In each era we choose philosophy of Man, God, World that
we agree on and explain why we choose it. But first what
is philosophy? Philosophy is the study of the fundamental
nature of knowledge, reality, and existence, especially
when considered as an academic discipline.
