As 4th grade team lead, I managed grade level campus expectations, and lead multiple data/planning
meetings around STAAR assessments/benchmarks.
Worked as a part of the campus instructional leadership team in which we collaborated to adopt new
math/literacy campus expectations.
As an instructional coach I managed campus instructional practices and coached teachers through their
smart goals that were set with the administrative team.
Developed and facilitated multiple book studies which were aligned with our campus needs assessments
and our identified problem of practice with Instructional Rounds.
Developed curriculum for 3rd grade as a part of my district responsibilities.

firm believer that weekly communication with parents will fix a lot of issues that can arise; I do this by
sending out a weekly email newsletter, summarizing the weeks plans in the classroom.
I am a firm believer in the importance of teaching the whole child. I understand that there are hidden skills
and hidden deficiencies in students abilities to learn and love the task of finding and
highlighting/differentiating for those needs.

Round Rock ISD Wells Branch Elementary - January 2011 to May 2011

Developed and taught lesson plans in all the content areas.
Created and administered a Backward Design lesson plan covering all content areas where the students
developed a Family Cookbook which included recipes from each individual students culture.
Implemented a student centered approach to teaching lessons in the four major content areas.

Developed a sense of classroom management including a practical classroom design that promotes free
flowing student centered learning centers.

Lake Pointe Church Sulphur Springs Campus - July 2002 to January 2007

Youth/Worship Pastor
Responsible for all aspects of youth ministry including coordination of ten to fifteen volunteers while
delivering weekly messages/presentations to a group of forty teenagers.
Aided senior pastor in scheduling and directing sound, lighting, and video technicians, while organizing
worship sets and leading musicians and vocalists during Sunday services.
Prepared, submitted, and managed a budget monthly for both the Youth and Music ministries.
Part of a team of ten who planned summer camps for groups of 400 600 middle school and high school
students.
