INTRODUCTION
In this assignment, business environment combination of internal and
external forces that affect the operating situation of a bsiness enterprise. It
include forces such as customer and suppliers; competitors and suppliers;
prograsses in technology; laws and government actions; and market,
social, political and economic developments. Some forces are directly and
some are indirectly operating of the business

The objectives of different types of business organization in the following by DILMAH
Sole proprietorship includes electricians, television repair person etc. sole proprietorship
business in the objectives is Sole proprietorship business helps to create work for
people. A person taking extra funds may start sole proprietorship to make productive
use of funds. Sole proprietorship business offers opportunity for an independent living to
take all the decisions. A sole proprietorship directly contact with customers. Sole
proprietorship business helps in the distribution of income and capital between a large
numbers of people. Sole proprietorship businesses are small in size Partnership
includes bookkeepers, lawyers, doctors etc. where the partners can share expertise,
workload and pool their capital. Partnership business in the objectives is To improve
contact to resources in a partnership is a principle for funding claims. To improve
flexible, innovative reactions to need recognized by the public using the strengths of
partners. Improve the service and working effectiveness. Upgrade the responsibility
(Companies are possessed by shareholders that each donates a stock of money then
added to by borrowing. Managements run the company on behalf of shareholders who
take a share of the incomes as dividends. Company business in the objectives is To
develop contract performance; employees are safety at work, flexibility and training; to
reduce manufacturing, distribution and functioning costs; to improve customer service;
to modernize information technology; to improve delivery service and profitability; to
increase market share, product reliability, production capacities and sales; to improve
economic performance includes operating margin, cash flow, return on assets, level of
investments

Dilmah also has these three types of responsibilities containing environmental, ethical
and business management responsibility, social responsibilities
Environmental Responsibility: Dilmah company is committed not only with the staff
members but also with the external stake holders and is concerning with environmental
protection. This is entire lie under the heading of corporate responsibility code. Under
this context company is dealing with legal regulations and legislations, issues related to
ecological problems, green concerns issues and the most important are the aspects that
are very much relevant and pertinent to business.
Additionally, indirect pressure from the customers and external stake holders also put
consequences for ecological problems.
Ethical and Business Responsibility:

This is the responsibility in which Dilmah

operations must be in favor of employees, people and environment. It is normally


expected by almost all types of organizations. Like one of the most examples are the
pollution control programs. Dilmah is involved in fulfilling the environmental quality
standards in this regard.
Management Responsibility: it is of the view that management is responsible for
employees, customers, suppliers, competitors, hence every stake holder in the
community. Like management is responsible for the hiring and firing of the employees.
Giving them fringe benefits and also retrains their skills so as to increase the
performance level. In terms of customers, management is responsible for providing the
high quality product or services and ensures honestly and fair treatment with them.

behaviour of a Dilmah
In order to judge the external environment of the organization, the best way is to
conduct PESTEL analysis; which stands for political, economic, socio-cultural,
technological, environmental and legal constraints.
Political: government is responsible for the provision of stable and healthy environment
for doing the economic activities. It is also responsible for maintain and improving the
social and infrastructure of the market.
Economic: it affects the performance of the organization at both local and international
level. It is dealing with interest rates, inflation rates, exchange rates etc. As company is
performing its activities in the strong economic country so it is easy to cater the services
and operations of the company in the effective manner.
Socio-cultural: it is based on the long term trends and beliefs that people follow while
living in a particular region. It can bring changes in the Camelots demand in form of

Technological: these are ways through which products can be made, sold and services
can be provided to the targeted customers. These are the ways through which markets
can be identified, firms can be managed and try to extend the means of communication
and promotional services.
Environmental: the existing and physical environment is very important to run the real
time business. It is also necessary to find out the right form of resources to get the
required results.
Legal: these are laws and regulations that will support the company to run its
operations.

Managers should care the behavior of Dilmah members progresses and employee
behavior is formed by social communication. Cultural environment is to influence on
manager when making a decision. The organizational culture of Dilmah is to define the
set of principles, rules and values which are protected by employees behavior that
symbolizes the features of dilmah. Operation is affected by an organizational culture,
direction and management style of environmental changes as employee inspiration. In a
culture is to require new employee behaviors. Business and cultural environment form
the organizational behavior of Dilmah are opinion, behavior and emotions of employees;
ethics, attitudes and effects in the work; pressure in the work; inspiring self and to the
employees; organizational honesty in the work; working in groups; communication with
the employees; rule and policies of the organization

4.3 Evaluate the impact of policies of the European Union on UK


business organizations
A policy is a procedure to monitor decisions and achieve outcomes.

A policy is

executed as a procedure. Policies are assumed by the board of authority within the
European Union on UK business organization where procedures are established and
assumed by senior administrative officers. Policies can assistance in both particular and
objective decision making. Policies to assistance in particular decision making to
support senior management with decisions that consider the facts of making decision. In
policies to support in the objective decision making are effective. The effect of policies of
