Self Appraisal For The Year
2.1

Brief description of duties of post :

During the period I was looking after the maintenance of roads under
the jurisdiction of M-313. The roads of VVIP Areas like Civil Lines,
Vidhan Sabha area etc. are under the jurisdiction of M-313. During
this period working various Strengthening / Upgradation /
Improvement of Road like G.T. Road, Ring Road (Road NO. 45),
Bhamashah Road, Shah Alam Bandh Road were at advance stage of
completion. It was a challenging job to execute the works without
disturbing traffic. Besides these works 18 Nos. of Court Cases were
under process, three arbitration cases and various PGC Cases were
also in process. It is also a herculean task to cop up with all these
activities alongwith the running works when there is acute shortage
at the level of J.E. and subordinate staff. All these were managed
with the timely and proper guidance of Senior Officers from time to
time.

Most of the works were at final stage of completion. Thus extra
effort/ time and devotion required to handle all these works for
timely completion besides this the Court Cases, Arbitration Cases
also to be dealt timely. Thus extra time were devoted to copup with
all these activities smoothly.
Every bit of effort were made in this regard.

Most of the time there is urgency to carryout the road works besides
