Toddler Movement And Dance Class: This is a parent/ caregiver participation class.
Parents/ Caregivers interact with your child through music, songs, movement and
dancing. Please do not let your child eat during class or run around the room.
Attendance: Class and Recitals
Your child will need tap and ballet shoes for class. Attendance is important. Please be to
class on time. Children that come in late miss the basic warm ups that will help them
with the remainder of the class. Many children also feel awkward walking into a class
after every one has gotten started. It's also disrupts the class. Please notify Miss Liz if
your child will be absent. Children that miss excessive classes may fall behind and not
be able to keep up with their classmates. If your child misses more than two classes in a
row they may be excluded from the recital. (exceptions are made for illnesses) It is up to
the teacher to decide whether your child will be able to keep up with the class. All
students are expected to attend the class right before the recital. This is a very important
rehearsal and costumes will usually be distributed. Regular attendance is especially
important for students that are elementary age and up. It's also in respect to their
classmates which work together in the dance.
