revolutionaryandhiswifetomoveoutofLaCasaAzulandintoanearbyhouseon
AvenidaVienainearly1939.Heleftbehindtheselfportraitshehaddedicatedtohim,
BetweentheCurtains.Inthepaintingsheisholdingadocumentthatsays,To
Trotskywithgreataffection,IdedicatethispaintingNovember7,1937.FridaKahlo,in
SanAngel,Mexico.November7thwasTrotskysbirthdayaswellastheGregorian
calendaranniversaryoftheOctoberRevolution.
