Working as a third grade teacher, I have had the opportunity to experience many different learning scenarios and
situations. I am also the Yearbook coordinator, co-founder of the SWPBIS initiative within LLE, and have been a mentor
teacher to two other younger teachers.
Responsibilities include daily lesson planning and implementation, accommodating for ESL and Special
Education students, data tracking and hosting parent conferences. For the yearbook, I plan and create
every page, produce sale flyers and collect money in accordance with the company that prints for us. For
PBIS, I attended an international APBS conference in San Francisco (Spring 2016) and returned to my school
to help implement a new program. We work to create positive learning environments and teach high
expectations to all students in hopes of reducing challenging behaviors with emphasis on the good.
