2. Get out all books pencils, or other necessary materials for class. 3. Place book bag, jacket, etc. into your cubby. 4. Sit in your seat, eyes forward, feet flat, and hands crossed so I know you are ready! Labeling Papers: 1. First when you get a paper look for a Name or Date line to write your information. 2. If there is no specific line, in the top left-hand corner write your name on the very top line. 3. Then write the date, in the top right-hand corner of the page. 4. Finally, you are ready to continue the paper/assignment by reading and following directions when given. Going to the Restroom: 1. First, do not yell out, instead raise your hand and wait to be called on, (unless it is an emergency.) 2. Once the teacher says you may go, sign out on the sign-out sheet with the time. 3. Then, be sure to take the hall pass. 4. Go to the restroom quickly and quietly, while keeping to yourself. 5. Return to class, walking, and return hall pass. 6. Sign back in! Dismissal: 1. Wait for the teacher to call your name, or section to go get your belongings from the cubbies. 2. When you are called, make sure to get EVERTHING you will need to go home for the day. 3. Return back to your seat calmly without running.
4. Wait quietly for your bus or other mode of
transportation to be called before walking out of class.
These four procedures are 4 vital, yet simple
procedures that I will expect my students to grasp this year in order for our days to run smoothly. They need to understand how to function and behave properly, while completing daily tasks both in and out of the classroom.
