Forum members could write template letter to send out to people
in the regions to lobby and campaign against the funding for the
forums being cut.
It was interesting to hear about the Disability hate crime work from
Gill and Richard.
Enjoyed the South East report to find out more about their area.
Start a Petition Online _paper change / 38 Degrees. Gov.uk need
100, 000 Signatures.
Thinking about all the work we have done Hate Crime staying
strong.
East Midlands helped liked the images on presentations and
finding out whats going on with each area.
People had good ideas. They had creative ideas about how to
survive.
We want to talk this morning to sort out what we are going to do
with a campaign about not getting funding for the future.

Liked what John said about going to Parliament. It would be good
for the National Forum to visit Parliament to see how the powers
work.

I found the talk about hate crime very interesting because its
something we talk about in our area.
Learning more about Hate Crime nationality and that it is important
to involve the Police.

I found a lot of the information provided was not easy read.
How much is the cost of a National meeting 7,000.00. No
supported staff.
Make some Noise, timeline, positive stories, how it has changes
lives.

Didnt have much time to prepare due to what was going on.
o Actions where not talked about.
People voices on partnership boards will be lost as they are seen
as links to National Forum. They will be asked to leave.
We lost the Regional Partnership Boards which was ok as we had
other Forum meetings. Now they are closing the Forums.
We dont want National Forum to close.
If the national voice is not valued what impact will this have on
local self-advocacy?

 Stop we need a plan to agree today as a Rep. I need to tell people

our plan.
People with Learning Disabilities might loose their voice.
Angry that the Department of Health are not going to fund us. I
want to protest in London.
Real worries about the (Br) exit of the National Forum.
We need to right a letter to the department of Health saying we are
unhappy about being told by email about Funding being stopped.
Im worried the government getting things wrong because we are
no longer working with them and listened to.
We hadnt heard about the report called loneliness and cruelty at
all. (from the foundation (we think its called that but might be
something different)).
Im worried that people wont stay connected when the money is
gone.
We were shocked to hear that there will be no more funding.
We dont want to loose all the experience we have.
It was a strange start to the meeting not having the co-chairs or
Lucy etc in the room that has a knock on effect. The rules need to
be read out at the start of each meeting.
This could put all self-advocacy at risk.
