India is the largest producer of milk and also comprises of highest no. of

a private market that is spread over an area of 25 acres and more than
10000 cattle transactions take place every day. Though the cattle market
runs throughout the year but the peak seasons include months from
January to March and July to September.

The trading of various breeds of cow and buffalo takes place in this market.
Few of the most common breeds of buffalo found in this market are
Murrah, Mehsana & Jaffarabadi. Breeds of the cow brought and sold in this
market involves Jersey, Sahiwal & Holstein Friesian.
