Independent Experience (small group activity 1):


For the Enrichment level group:
For the enrichment activity, the children will have two big circles. In middle of
each circle, there is a sign, such as a cloud to represent the flying birds and
grass to represent the unable to fly birds. The children will have the birds in
the parts of the circle. I will put it randomly in a basket, and the children will
classify and organize it.
Learning Objectives:
The children will classify and organize the birds and put it in the two circles.
Materials:
Two big circles or charts.
Random birds.
Basket.

Independent Experience (small group activity 2):


For the medium level group:
For the medium level activity, each child will have a plastic bag shows
random parts of a certain bird. Each child will try to arrange and set the parts
in the correct way. After they finished, I will ask each child about each bird
and if it can fly or not.
Learning Objectives:
The children will arrange and identify the type of the birds.
Materials:
Random birds in separate plastic bags.

Independent Experience (small group activity 3):


For the low-level group:
For low-level activity, the children will have birds maze. Each child will make
lines to find out the end, which depends on the type of the bird. Then the
children will circle and define if the bird can fly or not.
Learning objectives:
The children will do the maze and define the type of the bird.

After I monitored, assisted the pupils' work and ensure that everyone is
almost finished, I will put a timer to make everyone put their work also
materials in the middle of their groups. Once the timer is ringing, everyone
will stop. I will go around, take the staff. In case if they finished earlier, I will
change the activities and transit them to the other group. If it not, I will ask
them to line up to go to the playground.
Assessment
I will assessment them during the differentiation activities and through their group
work.

I think the lesson standard was very good because I was better than before.
Especially in the collaborative and differentiation activities.

Why do you think the students responded the way that they did?
Their responding was good also the interaction and their working during the
activities. The learners did not give the wanted reaction, but it was very good
because it was the first time I taught the L section.
How well did your teaching relate to the students prior
understanding?
Again, I back to the book as a reference, and I asked my MST about the
mental level of the students and how much they know about animals also
birds.
How well did you engage the students?
By the visual and the simple story about the topic, animation in the story and

several questions about it. This story made them laugh and involved very
well.

Explain the nature of the experience from the students perspective
It was very good because of their reaction, their concentration and
motivation to change and play with the activities.
Did your lesson meet your teaching goals?
Yes, all of them and my MST was pleasant to achieve classroom
management, attractive lesson, and better activities.
