after completing the Certified Accounting Technician exams.

Direct entry applicants should submit this form with the application for direct entry (forms T1 or T2).

CAT passed finalists should submit this form with form T3.

To become a Certified Accounting Technician you must have
obtained at least one years supervised work experience
and have achieved competence in 10 units including three
mandatory units and a minimum of seven other units. To
demonstrate competence in any given unit you must either:
obtain sufficient work experience in all, or the specified
number, of elements listed
or
be assessed by the NVQ route.
Please refer to the Certified Accounting Technician Competences
for a full list of the units and elements.
This form should be signed by your workplace supervisor, who
wherever possible, should be a line manager or partner who is
either:
a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant; or
a member of an accountancy or auditing body recognised by
law in the country of employment; or
a Certified Accounting Technician, or equivalent.
