COST:
The cost of the course is divided into two parts: participation fee and the cost of teaching accommodation
and meals.
FEE:

USD 1150.00

The participation fee includes: all training costs, course literature, documents and transport withen the
program. It also includes hotel and airport transfers. Cost for board and lodging are uncluded in the
accommodation fee. International travel costs and cost for personal expenses are NOT included.
ACCOMMODATION:
The participants will be accommodated at the International Student hostel in Ulaanbaatar and
Mongolian ger (yurt) in the countryside. Each participant will have a twin share accommodation,
with a bathroom, in Ulaanbaatar area.
VISA:
When required, participants should obtain a visa for Mongolia. The visa should be valid for whole
period of the summer school. Inquiries should be directed to the respective Mongolian Embassy as
soon as possible. IMS is willing to help you with visa issues.
INSURANCE:
Health and travel insurance must be covered by their home country.
PROGRAM:
The IMS will offer intensive courses in Mongolian Language and Cross Culture courses on Mongolian
Studies. You will also have the opportunity to visit places of historical and cultural interest and
sightseeing tours will be organized. If you are interested in participating, please return the Enrollment
form no later than December 8th 2016.
CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT:
All fees are payable in US Dollars and net of all bank charges. The amount credited to our bank
account must be the amount due. You can send a deposit of payment of $190 or the whole payment.

Day 1 Arrive in Ulaanbaatar
Day 2 Language class-A visit to Mongolian National History Museum
Day 3 - Language class- Visiting Zaisan Tolgoi
Day 4 - Language class- City sightseeing to Gandan Monastery, Megjid Jangraisig-the biggest
Buddhist statue in Asia
Day 5 - Language class- Enjoy a Folk Performance with national songs, dances and contortion acts
Day 6 Visit to Terelj National Park and explore the Turtle Rock natural rock formation.
-Horseback riding to the river, Enjoy camp fire. Will stay overnight in a ger.
Day 7 Breakfast Drive to Tsonjin Boldog Chinggis Khaans statue and Mongolian herdsmen
family. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar
Day 8 - Language class- Visit to the Mongolian Folk Art Museum
Day 9 - Language class- Visit to the International Intellectual Museum
Day 10 - Language class- Visit to the Mongolian National Gallery and Mongolian Heritage Centre
Day 11- Language class- Visit to the Winter Palace Museum of Bogd-the Last Mongolian king
Day 12 Drive to Manzushir Monastery (60 km far from UB)
Day 13- Visit to State Deparment Store in Ulaanbaatar
