Definition of palm oil
Palm oil is plants industry to produce oil, chocolate, and another, indonesian is a country
produce palm oil biggest in this world, the palm oil many spread in indonesia as sumatera ,java, and
borneo.

Although planing of to palm oil still very large but the preparation and planing of to palm oil
must carefully because palm oil plant is an annual plant,so that produce seed excellent.

The seed of palm oil

Oil palm seed should come from the parent quality seeding process aims to grow the seed in
the form shoots and young roots.
Seeding process:
1. oil palm fruits are separated from the stalk.
2. pulp and seeds are separated by mechine.
3. cleaned and soaked for 3 days.
4. Palm kernel aerated to dry.
this process usually last up to 3 mounths and will be transferred to polybags.

The Planing seed of to palm oil

Growers can use two seedling cultivation techniques namely direct way in polybags without
process and in an indirect way that includes two stages in the form of three months or dederan early
seedling stage and nine-month phase of the main nursery. During the process of seeding, the
seedlings need to be watered twice a day, nurtured and selected to get the seeds are able to grow
optimally in the planting area.

The Treatment of to palm oil

Weed control is part of the way to plant oil palm which is very important because weeds
will greatly interfere with the growth and productivity of oil palm plantations. Weeds can be
controlled manually, chemical, and technical culture. Fertilization is also an important process to the
type and amount according to the size and given in accordance with the schedule. In addition,
planters should also schedule regular pruning and pest and disease control in order that the
production of oil palm bunches optimal.

Harvest

Begin to bear fruit after 2.5 years and cook 5.5 months after pollination.
Can be harvested when the plant has been aged 31 months, at least 60% fruit
was ripe harvest of 5 trees are first ripe fruit bunches harvested. Feature
bunches of ripe harvest is at least 5 pieces of loose / fall of bunches weighing
less than 10 kg, or at least 10 pieces are separated from bunches weighing 10
kg or more.

Conclusion
From the process of planting on until the harvest stage it can be concluded
that is really good, better than treatment and fertilizer, to palm produce quality
fruit and is ready for production.
