AMENDED NOTICE OF APPEAL
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Respondent Michael A. Dittmann, by his
attorneys, Wisconsin Attorney General Brad D. Schimel and Assistant
Attorney General Jacob J. Wittwer, amends his Notice of Appeal entered on
September 9, 2016. Respondent Dittman now appeals to the United States
Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit all matters appealed in the original
Notice of Appeal, and the district courts order entered November 14, 2016,
granting Petitioner Brendan Dasseys motion for release. (Dkt. 37.) District
court orders regarding the custody of a habeas petitioner are reviewable
under Fed. R. App. P. 23. Woodfox v. Cain, 305 F. Appx 179, 180 (5th Cir.
2008) (per curiam).
