Task 1:
1. Tell students story and linked to their life ( engage and explore)
While telling students the story I will use TPR, engage students by asking them questions, and ask
them to solve the problems. As a result, students will pay attention and motivate to learn.
2. Explain for them that repeat means to do again.
3. Exampling for students the steps of using repeated addition to add and find the sum.

While students are doing the activity I will walk around to observe their working .Also, I will ask students Oral
questions, such as, how did you get that?
Moreover, I will provide appropriate feedbacks for them and improve their learning.
Also, I will use the checklist.

Reflection:

What went well:

I manage the classroom effectively. I used various ways to handle the class such as a bell, different sign and
reward systems. I reinforced students who sat silently, worked hard and listened to the teacher while
explaining. This made students quite, struggling to work and imitate the positive behavior.
Students were engaged and understand the lesson well because I used a different technique to help students
to construct their understanding such as reduce the opening time and allow a student to learn by doing the
work by themselves. Also, students were interested in the story, and it played a critical role to enhance
students understanding.
Hand on activities and differentiation activates were a productive strategy to help a student to learn and
understand better. It meets students needs and has a part to engage and motivate students while doing the
activity. Also, I assessed them by asking each student oral questions. Moreover, I corrected their mistakes.

I integrated different learning styles such as visual when I showed them pictures. Moreover, auditory when
they heard the story, kinesthetic when they moved their hands and acted. Finally, I improved their social
domain when they worked as groups

Even better if:

Keep the instruction clear, model it for the students and monitor them while doing the activity
because some students faced problem to do the activities.
Have time to complete student books. I prepared different activities, and students were busy on the
activities, and I did not have enough time to finish the book tasks. Therefore, I have to cancel some
activities to be able to finish the books. Also, when I noticed that students could do the activity
without facing any problem, I will allow them to complete their book without any assistance.

Next step in teaching and learning:

Use different strategies while teaching such as integrate learning styles and differentiation
activities.
Monitor student while doing the activities.
