discussion with my supervising teacher, children havent used a beach
theme provocation space- therefore it will be an exciting and new
Children know they are able to use the materials on this table.
Children know the expectation- materials that are taken away from
the table need to be returned.
Intentional:
The aesthetics of this table have been thought about to engage and
excite young learners; thinking about colour, texture and different
ways to use these materials.
As the table is close to the carpet children will have the opportunity
to decide whether they would like to touch the materials.
The table is open- therefore children will have a choice.
Children will not be given specific instructions or time to use the
table, it is their choice what they do, which material/s they use and
how much time they spend on it: prompted by the senses signs.
Observations of children using this table will be noted.
