dia hume pipe. Earth connections shall be given to the Earth Elecrods with
bolts, nuts & washers.
(e) A 65 mm dia PVC conduit is to be embeded through hume pipe at one
side, to lay the Earth from the Earth bus to the Electrode through the PVC
conduit and after laying the Earth, the pit entry PVC conduit is to be sealed
with Bitumen compound.
(f) Necessary Meggar testing is to be done in the presence of the concerned
Engineers, and the reading should be as per IE standards.

The box should be double door with locking arragements, rubber beading
door knobs etc., and the box will be mounted on 40X40X6mm MS angle with
stand legs at 4 corners at a length of 600mm each of 40X40X6mm MS angle
with necessary welding, two coats of enamel black paint over one coat of
red oxide. The pillar box should be fixed in ground with cement concrete
using 20mm(1:3:6). The entire box shall be powder coated with simens gray
colour through 7 tank process. The following switch gears etc., should be
accomidate in the box with necessary holes provided to the bottom sheet of
the box for incoming / outgoing cables as directed during execution.

front operated rotary handle fixed on suitable support - 1 No.
