Activity: whole class - independent
Each student will have egg number, small board, marker and cubes then ask them to write the number on
the board and represent the ones and the tens by using the objects.
Start the new lesson
Explain the lesson by using cubes and write an example for them on the board.
Group activity
Activity: whole class group
Each group will have cards they will write the answer in it by using abacus

Activity (LA -MA)


LA: independent
Each student will have a card, small board and marker then they will see the card and solve the math
problem on the small board. I chose this activity for this level because of it easy and simple because only
they will write and they have hints.

MA: independent
Each student will have will have a card, small board and marker they will see the card and solve the math
problem on the small board. I chose this activity for this level because it more challenges them because
they didnt have any hits and they will focus to get the right answer.

Extra activity (independent not for whole class) if the student finish quickly I will give them the extra activity.
I will ask them to open the book on page 167and start to answer the questions. I chose this activity to
make sure if they understand the lesson or not.
Closing
Open the book page 168 and complete it.
Review the lesson.
Assessment
I will evaluate students during the activity time by asking question for example, how you get this
answer and why you write this answer then I will write comment for each student in the assessment
sheet.
I will walk around the class to give them feedback about their work.

Reflection WWW/EBI:
The lesson was about take apart tens to add. In this lesson, I completed to teach them lesson back to back. I
think the student was ready to take this lesson because the activity time went well because the student
knows what they did in each activity. I think even better if the I have enough time to finish the book with
them because my MCT asked me to finish the book because she didnt have time.

Next Steps in learning and teaching:


My next steps will be I will try to finish the book page even if I didnt finish the activity that I prepared for the
lesson, I will complete the third lesson plan back to back because all this lesson related to each other.
