Noughts and Crosses

Draw the grid on the whiteboard.

Ask them if they know the game.
Have you ever played this game? Do you know the English name of the Game?
Tic-tac-toe (also known as noughts and crosses or Xs and Os) is a paper-and-pencil game for two
players, X and O, who take turns marking the spaces in a 33 grid. The player who succeeds in placing
three of their marks in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row wins the game

What is the aim of the game?

Today we are going to play it together to practice a little bit of vocabulary.
If we are playing a game, we will need a person acting as a referee.
Do you what a referee (writing on the board) is? An official supervising the play. Giving points.
So, as we are playing a game, we will be talking about games and sports.
First of all - (I shall indicate how they must group themselves).
Here you have the grid. As you can see each square has a number. Each team,
together, choses a number. If you answer correctly the point will be yours. If the
answer is wrong the other team can give the right answer, ok?
So, lets start.
