MISSION CAPABILITIES:
Cessnas Caravan is used around the world in a variety of roles.
Even its short list of specialized applications seems
comprehensive: aerial surveillance and reconnaissance work,
prisoner transport, photo mapping, patrol, medevac, search &
rescue, flood relief, geographic surveying, cargo and personnel
transport. And these arent just things that the Caravan can
do, but things it does do, every day.
Caravans are currently being utilized by aviation agencies in
Alaska, Ohio Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Wyoming, as well as
numerous Federal agencies, including the FBI, CIA, US Navy, US
Department of State and Interior and others.
The Cessna 208B compliments the WV Aviation Divisions
current Beechcraft King Air 350. While the King Airs primary
mission is serving major airports in WV as well as major US
cities, such as Atlanta, Chicago, New York and Washington DC,
the Caravan expands our capabilities in-state to include all
hard-surfaced and most non-hard surfaced runways.
