Morning Prayer is prayed before every weekday Mass and the Rosary is prayed after
Mass: all are welcome to join us
PRAYER CARDS There are Prayer cards available which we have received from the Catholic
Trust for England & Wales, entitled The Art of Dying Well, this is a new website they have
launched in November that offers help and support to those grappling with issues around the
meaning of dying and death. Please take home one of the Prayer cards.
BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE As in previous years, the Book of Remembrance will be kept in the
Blessed Sacrament Chapel during November. PLEASE DO NOT WRITE IN THE BOOK.
HOLY SOULS ENVELOPES These are now available in the Church porches. Please write the
names of your dear ones and put in the envelope with your offering. The envelopes can be
returned with the usual collection or put them through the letter box at the Presbytery. Your dear
ones will be remembered at all the Masses for the Holy Souls offered during November.
PARISH PILGRIMAGE some Parishioners have expressed interest in the possibility of a Parish
Pilgrimage, if you think you would be interested in going on a Pilgrimage in 2017 please contact
Yvonne on 01628 605764 or email yvonnecaff@talktalk.net with suggestions of where you would
like to go i.e. Rome, Lourdes, Malta, Holy Land, Santiago de Compostela etc.
CHRISTMAS RAFFLE We will be selling raffle tickets after each Mass from NEXT weekend
(26th November) until Christmas to raise funds for the Parish. Prizes as follows : First prize :
Christmas food hamper. Second prize : Homemade Christmas Cake. Third prize : Bottle of Red
and White wine. Fourth prize : Christmas goodie box.
REJOICE IN MOTHERHOOD : MOTHERS PRAYERS For Mothers who wish to pray together
for their children and grandchildren - Mothers, Grandmothers, Aunties! Please come and join us
as we pray for our children, Our Lady of Peace Church at 10.30am (as normal) or at 7.00pm on
Thursday, 24th November. Please note for those unable to attend the regular 10.30am
Thursday meetings, once a month there will be an evening meeting at 7.00pm. All Christian
faiths welcome. For further information please speak to Denise.

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT every Monday at Our Lady of Peace from
7.00pm to 8.00pm. All welcome to join in Contemplating the Face of Christ through prayer,
praise and stillness. There is also Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at St Andrews every
Thursday from 8.30am 9.30am. All welcome.

DIVING MERCY RETREAT led by Marian Fathers on Saturday, 26th November from 11.00am to
4.00pm at St Anthonys Church, Farnham Road, Slough. For further details please see

ST VINCENT DE PAUL AND THE CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE invite you to a celebration
of Mass with the sacramental anointing of the sick at St Andrews on Saturday, 26th November at
2.00pm. This will be followed by a tea party. Transport can be arranged, if required please

ST ANDREWS DAY Joint service on Wednesday, 30th November at 7.30pm. Led by Rev Janet
and Fr Andy at St Andrews Shared Church. All welcome.
FIRE & LIGHT with Cor et Lumen Christi Community at 7.00pm on Saturday, 3rd December at
the Salesian Sixth Form, Highfield Road, Chertsey, KT16 8BX.
PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL the next meeting will be on Monday, 5th December at 7.30pm in
the Sacristy at Our Lady of Peace.
BAPTISM PREPARATION COURSE The next Baptism Preparation course that Deacon Marek
will be running begins on Wednesday, 7th December at 7.00pm and will be held in the Sacristy at
Our Lady of Peace. If you wish for your child to be Baptised over the next few months, you will
need to attend the course. This is especially important for first time parents. If you have not

ST ANDREWS CIPPENHAM SHARED CHURCH TRUST are running a Tombola stall at the
Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, 10th December. Donations of bottles welcomed, please give to
Shelagh or John Barry.
