Kinds of pollution
Land pollution
Air pollution
Water pollution
Definition of Pollution
pollution is the presence in or the introduction of harmful or poisonous
substances into the environment the land, air and water of a substance
which has harmful or poisonous effects.
Kind of Pollution
In a world full of technology and machines, many kinds of pollutions are
now affecting our natural environment and beauty. there are many kinds
of pollution. Air, land, noise and water pollution etc. This report will
address the causes, effects and solutions for the following kinds of
pollution.
Air
Water
Land
Air pollution
Definition: When air pollution occurs the air accommodate gases, dirt,
effluvium or odour in harmful amount. Instantly that can cause an
extreme harm for the humans and animals breathing system as well as
plants, where it disturbs the prosthesis in plants.
causes:
Gas emissions from cars, factories, some deodorants sprays and
refrigerators etc. causes air pollution. carbon dioxide from burnt fuel in
vehicles as well as carbon monoxide, (CFC) gas used in refrigerators and
sprays
Effects:
These gases released by factories and several vehicles particularly burning fossil fuels (coal, oil
and natural gas}, agriculture and land clearing cause complications that has bad effect
on our earth by increasing the concentrations of greenhouse gases. After these gases being

released in air, consequently the percentage of carbon dioxide increases in the atmosphere
where the damage is continued to reach the Ozone layer were holes from greenhouse gases
allow the UV rays from the sun to reach the earth. These UV rays increase the temperature of
the earth. This contributes to warming of the Earth which can cause the ice melting in north and
south pole which will cause fold so humans and animals will die.
solution:
The solution for air pollution is to reduce the amount of these toxic gases
by the use of filters on factories and try to use environmental friendly
vehicles.
Water Pollution
Definition: The water pollution is the water that goes without any
treatment to our oceans, lakes and rivers etc.
Causes:
Around half of all ocean pollution is caused by rubbish and waste water. Each 12
months, the world generates probably 5-10 billion tons industrial waste, much of
which dumped untreated into rivers, oceans, and other waterways.
Solution:
To STOP water pollution, we should
avoid any oil spill by boats and ships in the sea water
stop throwing out in sea, rivers and lakes (heather infrastructure for
factories)
avoid deposing any chemicals in the sink or the bowl etc.
Land Pollution
Definition: Land Pollution is the extreme destruction of our land
environment. This is mostly recommended directly or indirectly as a
consequences of man's activities and their misuse of land resources.
Causes:
Land pollution is caused by both natural factors (volcanoes, earthquakes,
tornadoes and floods) and human activities like urbanization by destroying
animals inhabitants (trees and forests) as well as acid rain caused by air
pollution
Solution:
The ways that should get read off land pollution are
Water that been cycled must go treatment before sending it to
oceans and more water ways.
To increase human activities.
Getting into habit of more recycling.
Keeping our environment clean
Reduce waste burning
