Quick Start Guide for Teachers

How to start:

Read the sidebar

Navigating your Toolbars:

1. The Folder icon lets you add contacts, telegram contacts or people in the space or
see who is in world with you at any one moment.
2. The Look Up icon will allow you to look up as long as you are in First Person mode
(see number 6).
3. The Look Down icon will allow you to look down.
4. The Look Level icon is helpful after you've been looking up or down..it restores your
original view.
5. The Change Camera icon will allow you to cycle through a number of different
perspectives.
6. The First Person icon allows you to "see" as if out of your avatar's eyes. It's a helpful
perspective to use when trying to read a sign or walking inside a building.
7. The Locked Overhead View allows you to see yourself walking around in the 3D
space.
8. Chase Camera simply provides yet another angle, placing the camera over your
shoulder.
9. The Front Camera is handy when changing your avatar as it allows you to see
yourself head on. However this ones makes walking around a bit difficult!
10. The Freelock Mode will allow you to move around with your mouse instead of your
arrow keys. Click ESC to exit this mode.
How to Telegram!

To send a telegram:

1. Click on the FOLDER icon


2. Look for the USERS tab or choose one of your CONTACTS
3. RIGHT CLICK on that name and click SEND TELEGRAM

To read and/or reply to a telegram:

1. When you have received a telegram, you will get a notice in red in your
chat box.
