No Doubt Inc. is a 501(c)3 youth-driven initiative that empowers,
encourages and develops young leaders. Through dynamic
scholastic, social and entrepreneurial based programs our objective
is to help adolescents desire a productive future by honing their
personal goals and academic skills.

No Doubt Inc. provides opportunities for young people to discover

interests and develop talents, as well as emphasizing the importance of
graduating from high school. We offer a combination of unique
educational, life coaching, mentoring, self expression, sports, career
awareness, financial planning and social justice components to assist
in the reduction of the high school dropout rate.

Our approach centers on the belief that the completion of a secondary

education, meaningful employment and interactions with high caliber,
role model adults, have a potent effect on youths.

Since our inception in 2002, No Doubt Inc. has provided over 1000
young residents of Queens, New York with valuable resources to
become progressive-thnkers who make positive decisions and
contributions in their communities.

Currently No Doubt Inc. serves 100 at risk adolescents, ages 16 - 24

many of whom are faced with challenges that go way beyond acne and

EMPOWERING ADOLESCENTS WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH AND CHANGE.
ACADEMIC ENHANCEMENT
No Doubt, Inc. provides
Knowledge 101; counselor
advocates for a Pre-GED
component that is designed
to help students improve
basic reading, writing, and
math skills in preparation for
the New York State General
Education Development
(GED) program and test.
Each student is provided
with an individualized
assesment and progress notes
to meet their needs. Through
our unique Mentoring and
Life Coach services we identify
and ameliorate personal
and/or familiar issues that
threaten to impede students
social, academic and vocational
goals. Participants exit the
program with resources and
important contacts to better
prepare them for life as young
adults.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
No Doubt, Inc. offers a Media
component that is based on
creating awareness of important
teen issues. We utilize the power
of video and audio with Public
Service Announcements (PSA)
to shine light on teen rights,
transforming personal stories into
powerful tools of communication.
Through this program, No
Doubt, Inc. brings often-unseen
images, untold stories and
seldom heard voices to the
attention of teens, key decision
makers, mainstream media and
the general public. This in-turn
catalyzes grass root activism,
political engagement, and lasting
change.
Teen and Peer Mediation is
offered on an individual and group
basis, for teens that have
problems with school officials,
parents, law enforcement or
another peer. This workshop will
show the teen how to display
positive behavior, empower self-
esteem, reinforce school
attendance and
achieve academically. The
adolescent will identify common
issues, begin positive dialogue,
role-play the matter with their
peers and come up with solutions
on how to resolve the problems.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

young people to speak up

The Entrepreneurial program is
a 5-week incubator, that keeps
students motivated and encouraged
to continue their road to
entrepreneurialship. The program is
closely conncted to our marketing
components. The cost provides
students with the opportunity
to explore business ownership,
economic concepts, & leadership
skills all centered around our free
enterprise system. Throught the
course students learn to
explore, analyze & evaluate their
own entrepreneurial spirit.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

No Doubt, Inc. received its initial funding from entertainer Beyonce Knowles in June 2003

and non-traditional schools.
No Doubt, Inc. produced 3 Public Service Announcement which aired on Queens Public
Television channels 34, 35 and 56.
No Doubt, Inc. endorsed Russell Simmons Hip-Hop Summit Action Network, Hip-Hop Team
Vote campaign to register young voters and Doug Banks of New Yorks WBLS FM One Mind
One Vote kick off at Good Morning America Studios providing students to execute youth
registration for 2004.
No Doubt, Inc. youth rallied in front of the Supreme Court in Washington, DC on October 13,
2004 during the Supreme Court Case: Roper vs. Simmons to determine the constitutionality
of the juvenile death penalty. In addition we attended the debriefing of the case at the
American Bar Association in DC.
No Doubt, Inc. campaigned with Citizen Change (Sean Diddy Combs organization) and wore
Vote or Die T-shirts to Washington, DC where we toured the Library of Congress and sat in the
Supreme Court.
No Doubt, Inc. co-sponsored and raised over $8000 in toy donations and helped distribute them
to less fortunate children with Councilmember Leroy Comrie (27th CD) Tree Lighting in 2004 to

 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

LEADERSHIP Jacqueline T. Denson, Founder and Executive Director

Jacqueline Denson founded No Doubt Inc. in 2002 when she discovered that the graduation rate in
New York City was at 40 percent among minority students. A certified and practicing NYC/NYS teacher
(K through 12), shes is a graduate of Norfolk State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Education, as well as a Master in Public Administration from Metropolitan College of New York. Her
community involvement includes: Queens Democratic Club, Columbia Supervisor Program, Harlem
Chambers of Commerce, Co-Chair of the South East Queens Youth Committee, Ladies Who Launch,
New York City Cares, Citizens for New York, Community Justice Network for Youth and Queens Society
for Social Welfare. She is experienced as a Youth Advocate, Case Management and is a trained Life
Skills Specialist for Teen Mothers and handled marketing/public relations for a local Day Care.

Her background in entertainment marketing helped her reach influencers who not only inspire those in
the program, but lend their support to the mission, including Beyonce Knowles, who gave the initial
donation to the organization. Ms. Denson has dedicated herself to positively impact the lives of young
people and to help develop tomorrows leaders.

Keisha Smith, Board Secretary

Skilled in administration and youth counseling, Keisha Smith holds a Masters degree in Public
Administration. She has worked as a Residential Counselor at Family & Childrens Association, and
Recreational Specialist at The Salavation Army Women's Shelter. Her role with No Doubt Inc. is to
work in concert with Program staff to provide programming to identify and improve personal and/or
familiar issues that threaten to impede students social, academic and vocational goals. She also
provides the youth with individual counseling, group work and case management services as well
as crisis intervention services to students and their family members. In addition, she facilitates job
readiness and life skills workshops. Shes involved in the community with Queens Society for
Social Welfare, Sistas on the Rise and Queens Democratic Club.

Lambert Shell, Ph.D Board Chair

Experienced in specialized training in youth development and certified in educational-based

programming. He has a bachelors degree in Human Services as well as Masters degrees in Elementary
Education and Library Information Services and Doctorate in Social Services. A former professional
Basketball Player; he is recognized in the New England Basketball Hall of Fame and his jersey
displayed in National Basketball Hall of Fame. He is a member of the American Library Association
and involved with the Coalition of Juvenile Justice.

Kenneth Baylor, Treasurer

Is the Senior Private Investigator for TJX Corporation in the northern region. Has an extensive
background in entertainment for promotion and marketing. He has recently completed all the

requirements for a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Forensics. He has a strong military background and
specializes in loss prevention. His stong corporate negotiating skills are utilized with No Doubt Inc.
in developing mutual beneficial partnerships.
