Intensive Mandarin Chinese Class for 7th-10th Grade Students

Program Description:
This class is designed for middle school and high school aged students who possess
intermediate and higher Chinese language proficiency, for them to continue their Chinese
language and culture study. The content of this program cover a wide variety of topics,
including Chinese language structures and characters, Chinese customs, proverbs,
holidays, social phenomena, religions, poetry, geography, as well as Chinese folklore. As
students proceed through this course, they will learn vocabulary and important sentence
structures for performance tasks. The student enrolled into this program will also be
offered to work with our teachers in our Mandarin Chinese immersion program to
complete their weekly learning project.

Program Dates and Time:

Monday to Friday, 4:00pm to 5:30pm
Session 1, June 27 to July 1
Session 2, July 5 to July 8
Session 3, July 11 to July 15
Session 4, July 18 to July 22

Weekly Price:
Small group instruction. No more than 6 students in one group.
How to Enroll:
Completed registration forms and full tuition payments must be submitted no later than
February 26, 2016 in order to secure placement. Any new students are requested to turn
in $75 application fee.
