Antenna Actuator

For Rotary & Fixed Wing Aircraft

The antenna actuator is used on helicopters to lower the
video downlink transmitter antenna below the aircraft in
order to avoid the blocking effects and obstructions to the
line of sight transmission of the downlink signal caused by
the skids and other equipment fitted under the fuselage of
the aircraft.
The Actuator can also be fitted to fixed-wing aircraft to
avoid the blanking effect of the wing during turning. Two
types of control panel are available:-

Handheld Retractor Control Panel.

HRCP Remote Control Panel - which provides
comprehensive remote control of Downlink
Transmitters and Uplink Receivers.
The control Panel may be linked to a ground proximity
sensor to provide automatic retraction of the Actuator.
