The airplane

One of the greatest inventions of all times is the airplane. Without

it, life wouldnt be the way it is now.
Uno de los grandes inventos de todos los tiempos es el avin. Sin ella, la
vida no sera la forma en que est ahora.
Thanks to them, we are able to know new places, meet new people
and cultures. Even though, travelling by plane might still be a little
expensive and not 100% safe, airplanes are our first option when
travelling long distances.
Gracias a ellos, que son capaces de conocer nuevos lugares, conocer gente
nueva y culturas. A pesar de que, viajando por avin podra todava ser un
poco caro y no es 100% seguro, los aviones son nuestra primera opcin
cuando se viaja largas distancias.
Airplanes give us a chance to taste food from all over the world, to
use technology that was invented in another continent or to buy
products were not able to get here. If airplanes didnt exist, ships
or cars would take too long to bring them to us.
Los aviones nos dan la oportunidad de probar la comida de todo el mundo,
para utilizar la tecnologa que fue inventada en otro continente o para
comprar productos que no son capaces de llegar hasta aqu. Si no existieran
los aviones, barcos o coches tomaran demasiado tiempo para llevarlos a
nosotros.
I guess that at first people were afraid of travelling by plane. They
couldnt believe such thing could be kept in the air so long.
However, if people hadnt been brave enough to take the risk,
things would have been very different back then. I think one of the
most important things is that they couldnt have gotten medicine
from other parts of the country or even the world.
Supongo que al principio la gente tena miedo de viajar en avin. No podan
creer tal cosa podra mantenerse en el aire tanto tiempo. Sin embargo, si la
gente no haba sido lo suficientemente valiente como para correr el riesgo,
las cosas habran sido muy diferentes en aquel entonces. Creo que una de
las cosas ms importantes es que no podra haber conseguido la medicina
de otras partes del pas o incluso del mundo.
This means of transportation is of huge importance for us, it has
definitely more positive sides than negative ones. It has helped lots
of generations and in so many different ways that it would be
impossible to think about our life without it nowadays.
Este medio de transporte es de gran importancia para nosotros, tiene
definitivamente lados ms positivos que los negativos. Ha ayudado a un

montn de generaciones y de muchas maneras diferentes que sera

imposible pensar en nuestra vida sin ella hoy en da.
