Round 3: Ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into ch-2 sp, ch 1, *3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in
next ch-2 sp, ch 1, rep from * around, sl st to top of ch 3, into each of the next 2 dc, and into the

Rep round 4 until each side of the granny square measures 40/1.02m. Do not break yarn.
Fold granny square in half with wrong sides facing out (right sides facing each other). With the fold
at the top, measure 7/18cm down from fold on each side and place markers. Starting at the
corner where your working yarn is still attached, use a sl st edge stitch to seam the sides together
from the bottom corner up to the marker. Join yarn at other bottom corner and repeat on that
side. This will form the armholes between the markers and the fold.

Turn shrug right sides out so that seams are facing the inside/wrong side. Starting with one
armhole, join yarn and work 8 spiral, unjoined rounds of sc evenly around armhole to form a cuff.
Sl st to last st and break yarn. Repeat on other armhole.
Join yarn around outer edge and work 2 spiral, unjoined rounds of sc around entire outer edge, sl
st to last st and break yarn.
Secure and weave in all ends.
