DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Delivered safety Induction training and Daily routine inspection at work site.
Conduct Tool Box Talk, and Fire fighting training to the new employees.
Organize safety committee meetings and review action plan, keep the management informed about the
progress in implementation of safety measures.
Coordination and facilitation of Medical check-up of all employees with their analysis of the health status,
Medical check-up of personal working in Hazardous process complying to the Legal requirement.
Conduct Emergency drills as prescribed by the manual and records the same. Address the areas of
improvement as required.
To ensure availability of adequate fire extinguishers inside the factory premises.
Personally responsible for own safety and conducting ones self to the standards of Companies Policies and
Procedures.
Participate in Regulatory, Operator and Internal safety Audits.
Provide information to Management on accidents/incidents in a timely manner according to established
Operator procedures Monitor compliance against the monthly safety schedule.
Oversee implementation of operational systems and procedures to include but not be limited to: Permit to
Work System, Hazardous Chemical -MSDS, PPE System, and other required training activities.
Maintenance of the Corrective Action Register for non-compliance items arising from meetings and
inspections.
Support line management to report, investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
Coordinates the Company's HSE Award program.
Track HSE performance & coordinate monthly, quarterly & annual reporting
Coordinate Strategic Plans in the area of HSE as well as monitor and complete Key Performance Indicators.
Develop and implement programs and policies for monitoring and preventing chemical, physical and
biological hazards at the facility.
Facilitate and conduct staff training on issues relating to Health, safety and environment.
Carry JSA in accordance with good engineering practice.

Currently working IIPHS COLLEGE OF FIRE & SAFETY ENGINEERING, Pudukkottai as a SAFETY
TRAINER from August 2014 to till date.
Worked as a SAFETY OFFICER in PUDUGAI BUILDERS, Pudukkottai, during the period July 2013 to
June 2014.
