How Sports Premium Funding was used effectively during 2015/16

PE and Sport play an important part in the life of our school. We believe that Physical Education and Sport contribute
to the holistic development of young people and through participation in Sport and PE, young people learn more about
key values such as co-operation, teamwork, fair play and respect for themselves and others.
There is significant evidence to show the positive effects of sport and exercise not just on childrens physical health,
growth and development, but also on academic achievement. Furthermore, sport provides a healthy environment for
young people to learn how to deal with competition.
