Students will be able to count new numbers which are 18 and 19.
Students will be able to write number 18 and 19.

Students Prior Knowledge:


Students can count numbers from 1 to 17
Students can write numbers from 1 to 17.
Possible Problems :
1- Students may cannot write some numbers correctly like number 5 they write in opposite side.

Solutions for the Possible Problems:


I will show them how to write the numbers on the board and I will keep the numbers on the board to
help them when they write.
Misconceptions:
- Students may cannot count numbers in a right sequence.
Solutions for Misconceptions:

Count with them the numbers from 1 to 17 to remember the right sequence.

Engage (warm up, review prior knowledge):
1- I will engage them by tell them that we will play a game by using the
iPad. The game is about counting numbers and put the write number
next to the each picture.

2- Present the magic hat which have a question. I will choose one student
from each group to come in front of the class and choose one question.
Student will read the question then he will write the answer on the
board. All questions are review the last lesson.
Core (introduce and practice new concepts & procedures):

1- I will show them a video in data show which explain what we will
learn today. The video count from 1 to 19.
2- I will choose one student to tell me what is the new numbers that
we will take it today, then I will show them the numbers 18 and 19
and write learning objectives.
3- I will show them a picture then we will count together and write
number 18 and 19 on the board.
4- We will answer the book question.
5- Give each group cups and sticks and ask each group to present
number 18 or 19 through put the stick on the cups and write the
number on the paper.
6- Students will present their work and they will write the number on
the iPad to present it to the class.

Close (wrap up, discussion, brief review activity or assessment):

Teacher will give them individual work which are a small quiz have
different question for different level. The worksheet include a pictures
and students will count the picture and write the number beside the
picture.

We will use a caterpillar to present the number 18 and 19 on the board.
