    They arent so many, Would you like to save them?

    BACKGROUND: This Ox lives in some


    mountains in Vietnam and Laos. There is
    no information about how many of them
    exist nowdays. Some of them have been
    captured by scientists but they dont
    survive because they cant resist the
    captivity. There are lots of facts which
    contribute with the destruction of their
    habitat like: construction of dams and
    highways, the continue growning of farm
    and plantation areas, moreover they are
    usually hunted by depredators like
    leopards and tigers, all of these situation
    have being threats to the oxs survival.

    SAOLA FACTS:

    They have a large pair of horns almost straight which are very close
    between themselves, this is why they are known as Asian unicorn.
    They usually live alone or in small family group of 2 or 3 members.

    WHAT CAN YOU DO?

    Spread the word about this situation to raise awareness among people
    and try to get some donations to those foundations who cares about
    saving this specie.
    Become a member of an organization like the World Wildlife Found
    (WWF) Vietnam.
