a) PhD program shall be open to the candidates who have Bachelors and Masters
Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline/specialization recognized by the
University with minimum CGPA 3.0/4.00 or First division in MSc Engineering.

Criteria

b) GAT Subject conducted by NTS with at least 60 cumulative score. In case of non
availability of above mentioned tests, the locally developed test will be
conducted by the Departmental committee.

Rs.60,000/- per month scholarship is available for selected Full Time PhD
Scholars for 36 months from the date of enrollment.The Endowment Fund
Scholarship Scheme is also available for the above mentioned deciplines at
S.No 5 to 9.
Application form alongwith requisite documents and Postal Order/Bank Draft of Rs. 1000/- (nonrefundable) in favour of Treasurer UET Taxila, payable at HBL UET Taxila, be submitted to the
Office of Dean of the concerned faculty as per schedule given below:-

Application form can also be obtained from the office of Advanced Studies Research & Technological
Development and concerned Dean, UET Taxila.
UET Rules and Regulations mentioned in Prospectus are applicable.
NOC is required from employer (where applicable).
Leave from employer is required for full time PhD Scholars for the stipulated period.
PhD candidates are also required to prepare detailed research proposal on prescribed format on his/
her preferred research area mentioned at UET web page http://uettaxila.edu.pk
