As Days
Hello Parents!

Upcoming Dates:
Christmas Program: Dec 20th 6:30pm
Christmas Break: Dec 21st (1/2 day) - Jan 3

As Christians, what should our response be to those devastated by the state of our
LS Swimming: Tuesdays Jan 10 Feb 28
country, the election results and the distrust of media and information? I'm convinced Blacktail Ski Day: Thursday Feb 16
that when we put our trust in things or people other than God, our anxiety and peace
are out of balance. We do need to actively participate in the civic duties we are given
but also remember Whom we serve and put our trust.
Would you join me as I continue to pray for our newly elected officials, our local,
state and federal government? The scriptures are clear in instructing us to pray for
those in authority over us and although my hope is in Jesus, I also want to be an instrument of kindness, humility and gentleness to those who are worried about the future. Let's love one another and those around us even though we may not agree on
politics. Be a light for Christ today!

All of our students are working on sections of the Christmas program that will be
shared in three weeks. A human video, choir songs, Scripture readings with sign language as well as a play will all be shared. We decided two programs last year was a bit
too much and because we don't have room at MVCA to have everyone at once, the
Baptist Church was the best option for us this year. (One more reason for us to build
a gym at our property!) Tuesday, Dec. 20th at 6:30 in the First Baptist Church is the
program so ask your child what they are responsible to have ready. It should be a
wonderful evening.
Our Grandparents Day was a smashing success this year. The presentations, stories
and shared experiences were deeply appreciated by young and old. I'm so proud of
our staff and the quality of students we have. The surveys we received from the grandparents were full of compliments and pledges to pray for MVCA. We value the wisdom, experience and counsel of our elders.
Thanks to all of you who contributed to the Thanksgiving baskets for the staff. What
a blessing you are to each of us and we are fortunate to work in a school that has parents who love and care for us so well. Thank you for investing in MVCA in providing
a Christ centered quality education developing lifelong servant leaders!
Blessings,
