J. Patrick Lewis has earned a lofty reputation in childrens publishing,

honors are the 2011 National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE)
Excellence in Childrens Poetry Award and the Ohioana Awards 2004
Alice Louise Wood Memorial Prize. He lives in Westerville, Ohio.
Twin sisters Anna and Elena Balbusso are award-winning Italian artists
who have illustrated more than 40 books. Their work, known for its
Renaissance sensibility, has been featured in numerous exhibitions and
galleries around the world, as well as recognized by such organizations as
the Society of Illustrators.

Learning the names of colors is a fundamental part of a childs
development. Most of the time, a color is associated with a common
object or living thinga red apple, a green frog, and so on. In this

Kate Riggs is a Minnesota-based editor and author of childrens and

young adult nonfiction books. In 2012, her book Dolphins was honored

Paolo Domeniconi lives and works in the small Italian city of Spilamberto. After gaining artistic experience in advertising and through
various freelance projects, he became interested in childrens illustration.
Working mainly in digital media, he has since illustrated approximately
40 books for international publishers.
