Description
Sikalastic-110
is
a
water
based
1-part
MMA
modified
Polyurethane/bituminous coating, formulated to form a highly elastic,
seamless and crack bridging membrane.
Tools/Materials
Electric stirrer (approximately 300 400 rpm), hand-held grinder, steel wire
brush, brush roller, clean cloth, Sikalastic-110, etc.
Planning
Surface Preparation
The concrete substrate must be clean and free from all traces of loose
material, dust, surface contamination such as form oil, curing membranes (if
used), oil, grease, etc.
Weak concrete must be removed and surface defects such as blowholes and
voids must be fully exposed.
The substrate should be well dampened but free of surface water and leaks.
Application
1. The substrate should be well dampened but free of surface water and
leaks.
2. Stir the Sikalastic-110 thoroughly with an electric stirrer until a
homogenous mixture is achieved.
3. Leave the product to settle after stirring to allow entrapped air to escape.
4. Apply first coat of with 1-part of Sikalastic-110 diluted with 3-part of clean
water and apply to the prepared surface by means of roller, brush or
spray.
5. First coat can be applied immediately after the primer.
6. For indoor or inadequately ventilated area, allow 30 minutes between
the primer and the first coat.
7. Leave the whole system to cure for 48 hours at 23 C, 50 % r.h. before
overlaying with screed.
Protection
Cleaning
Clean all working tools and equipment immediately with water after used.
Once hardened, the material can only be removed mechanically.

Safety Precautions
Wear gloves and goggles during application. If in contact with skin, wash
thoroughly with soap and water. If in contact with eyes or mucous membrane,
flush immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention without
delay. Use with adequate ventilation.
