Wed, Dec 7th, The McMillan Projects Groundbreaking by Invitation at the McMillan Site. Once you
have signed up for your invitation, you will be provided more detailed info on this event.
Thurs, Dec 8th, MAG Meeting: DMPED has proposed bringing representatives from the DC Department
of Employment Services to provide an overview of their programs and address some questions brought up
at the November meeting about including local residents in the hiring process for the contracts for the
McMillan project. There were quite a few questions about this at the last meeting and this presentation
should be able to address that. Such a presentation likely would take most of our meeting time.
Elections: Heres what our bylaws state about the elections: Section 3: MAG officers shall be selected
by regular elections (as described above) from the current voting membership and absences filled by ad
hoc officers, selected by a majority of voting members, to fill interim vacancies. So if our meeting
happens on December 8th, and we have a quorum of active voting members, we can vote for chair and
secretary. If we do not have a quorum, or we do not have a meeting, this can be placed on the next
meetings agenda. Please consider these two points proposed for our agenda for the December
8th meeting, let me know your position on adding them to the agenda, and whether or not you
have additional items. MAG meets every 2nd Thursday of each month. You may view minutes/notes
taken at MAG Meetings @ link: https://mcmillanadvisorygroup.wordpress.com/ POC: Kirby Vining
Thurs, Dec 8th: Bloomingdale Small Diameter Water Main Replacement Project Public
Informational Meeting: As part of its Capital Improvement Program DC Water has begun the

Additionally, for those properties with lead service lines on their private property DC Water can
simultaneously replace the service lines, if the homeowner elects to participate. However, private side
service line replacement will be the financial responsibility of the homeowner. Dont miss this
