ANCESTRAL HOUSE No. 1

Date built: 1930
Owner: Elvira Refil
Notes: The owner agreed for us to enter their house for the said
future documentation for the housing subject. The group members
can, but did not enter the house yet on this visit, but instead asked
for permission first and took some pictures on the exterior.
According to the owner, there are some changes and repairs in the
interior of the house. She inherited this house from her late father.

ANCESTRAL HOUSE No. 2

Date built: 1912
Owner: Dina Fernandez
Notes: The owner was in the other country and is coming back after
some weeks from now. The group members had a chance to talk
with the ancestral houses keeper. According to her, there were
students from different schools like in Manila and here in Cavite that
had been visiting the house. The members asked if there is a
possibility for the group to enter the house for studies and
documentation, and the keeper said it is possible since there are
some also who went in there and took some pictures and others,
plus the owner is open and kind. Right now, we just have to ask for
permission to the owner personally when she reach Philippines. As
observed by the members outside, the wide windows slightly
opened gave them a glimpse of the interior. The interior was wellpreserved.
