Social/Behavioral Sciences course, 1 Humanities/Fine Arts, 1 Global Awareness, and 1 Knowledge of
African- American Culture and History course. The HPLS requires its students to use SSFM 226 as their
Social/Behavioral Sciences course. b8 hours Students may take any courses for which they meet the prerequisites.

3 hours These hours are used as pre-requisites for graduate school in allied health. Students may choose
from the list of approved Pre-PT courses. 3 hours Students may choose from any SSFM, HPLS, or LSS
course that is not already part of their curriculum.

MAJOR PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS


Students must earn a C or better in all major courses.
Students must acquire a minimum grade point average of 2.8 in a
4.0 scale by the end of the freshman year in order to continue in
the Pre-PT option.
